INITIATIVES

7Up Harvard Business School Scholarship

In the year of our 50th anniversary, we created an initiative to give back to a country that has given us so much. So much love, patronage, and growth. So, in 2010, Seven-Up Harvard Scholarship program was given life.

Every year, we sponsor a deserving Nigerian youth, living in the country to an all-expense paid MBA program at the prestigious Harvard Business school in the USA. Contributing our own quota to Nigeria’s progressive growth and development.

In doing this, we not only impact the life of one by sponsoring them at one of the top, most sort after institutions in the world, but we also impact the nation.

Our first candidate was announced in 2011 and for every year after that, we have sponsored MBA programs for selected individuals at Harvard Business School.

PEPSI FOOTBALL ACADEMY

In a move to grow and build the future of football in Nigeria, we created an academy to nurture the best budding young football stars in Nigeria by providing them with the perfect platform for Stardom. Our core strategic intent is to be at the heart of football development and growth in Nigeria.

It was originally established in November 1992 by Kashimawo Laloko as a football school, based at the Agege Stadium, courtesy of the Lagos State Sports Council. In 1994, Pepsi came onboard, since then, it’s been titled the Pepsi Football Academy.

The Pepsi Football Academy, over the years, has developed and grown into one of the most prestigious football academies in Nigeria. It currently boasts of over 3,000 registered students aged between 6-18 years and operates throughout the year from 14 different training centers and 54 coaches across Nigeria.
